Unseen Cuisine
Sensory Cooking & Nutrition Coaching

Accessible, sensory-based cooking and nutrition coaching—designed for real life, real bodies, and real kitchens.

I help people build confidence in the kitchen and create food routines they can actually maintain—using touch, sound, and simple, repeatable systems that work.

My coaching supports beginners, blind and low-vision cooks, and individuals managing chronic illness, food allergies, or dietary restrictions.

My role is to help you translate medical guidance into everyday food and cooking routines that feel realistic, nourishing, and sustainable.

Coaching is educational and designed to work alongside medical care—not in place of it.

Who This Coaching Is For?

What We Work On?

This coaching is for you if…

• You want to cook healthier, but the kitchen feels overwhelming or inconsistent
• You’re managing health goals, chronic illness, or food allergies—and need food guidance that fits real life
• You want clear, practical nutrition support—not extreme rules or confusing plans
• You’re new to cooking, rebuilding confidence, or learning how to cook without relying on sight
• You want simple cooking systems you can feel, hear, and trust—so they actually stick

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need perfection.
You need a starting point.

In coaching, we focus on building food and cooking routines that support your health, your energy, and your daily life.

Together, we may work on:

• Creating simple, repeatable cooking systems you can rely on
• Building confidence in the kitchen using touch, sound, and sensory cues
• Translating nutrition or medical guidance into everyday meals
• Developing routines that work around fatigue, pain, or limited energy
• Navigating food allergies, dietary restrictions, or accessibility needs
• Reducing overwhelm by simplifying decisions around food

Coaching is practical, supportive, and designed to meet you where you are—so progress feels steady, not stressful.

Why Work with Chef Riq?

I’m Chef Riq—a blind chef, holistic nutrition and wellness coach, and nutrition-focused educator who teaches from lived experience, not theory.

I’ve learned how to cook, adapt, and thrive by relying on sound, touch, and instinct. I bring those same sensory-based methods into my coaching to remove barriers rather than create more.

This is guidance rooted in real life:

• Cooking when energy is low
• Navigating chronic illness or food allergies
• Building routines that work whether you’re blind, low vision, disabled, or overwhelmed

This coaching isn’t about chasing perfection or rigid food rules.
It’s about confidence in the kitchen, consistency over time, and control over your food and health—on your terms.

How to Get Started

Getting started is simple—and pressure-free.

We begin with a free, one-on-one conversation where we talk about you: your goals, your challenges, and what’s getting in the way right now.

Whether you’re new to cooking or managing health needs, or simply looking for clearer food direction, this call helps us determine what kind of support makes sense for your life.

There’s no judgment.
No commitment.

Just clarity—and a clear next step.

Coaching helps you make food and lifestyle choices that support your health in real life, in collaboration with your medical care. Always follow your healthcare provider’s guidance.
